As Director, Brand & Content Strategy for Blast Analytics & Marketing, Joe helps the company tell its story to the world in the most clear, compelling, and consistent manner while ensuring a world-class brand experience across all audiences, channels, and client touchpoints. He joined Blast in early 2016 to help the company and its clients EVOLVE through increased brand awareness, engagement, conversion, and retention.

With 25 years of experience working for a range of organizations — from Fortune 100 to startup and non-profit — Joe has proven success leading content strategy, projects, campaigns, and creative teams. In addition to his strategic marketing and communications expertise, he adds valuable management and operational experience to Blast.

Prior to joining Blast, Joe was Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications for Kleinfelder, a large global engineering company, where he led strategy and execution of global, multi-business unit marketing and communications. Before that, he ran a successful copywriting and marketing communications consultancy serving a diverse portfolio of clients.

Joe received his BA in Communications from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California, where he also played intercollegiate basketball. An active member of the community, Joe coaches various youth and high school sports teams while supporting other local programs and activities. He and his wife Janis are co-founders of The Markie Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports children’s hospice.
