Marketo Summit Recap & Top 5 Innovation Announcements
Over 7,000 marketers and marketing automation practitioners joined in the excitement of this year’s Marketo Summit at the Moscone Center in San Francisco April 13th-15th. With big names like Arianna Huffington, President & Editor-In-Chief of the Huffington Post, and John Legend, 9 Time Grammy and 2015 Oscar Winner, it’s no wonder the crowd was full of energy and optimism as the day progressed.
Inspiration in the Nation
This year’s theme was “Inspiration in the Nation” and focused on motivating marketers to embrace the “engagement marketing” era that is upon us.
With this in mind, Huffington went on to explain that the Huffington Post tries to promote “copycat solutions, not copycat shootings” by engaging readers with “positive” stories that inspire them to replicate the good they are reading about.
Legend spoke about the importance of collaboration, and encouraged the audience to take advantage of their peers’ diverse talents to produce greatness.
With that, Marketo’s CEO, Phil Fernandez, announced some of Marketo’s newest product innovations for 2015 and inspired us all to take full advantage of how these new tools can take our marketing automation to the next level.
