Challenge
Tri Counties Bank, a fast growing California bank, partnered with Blast Advanced Media to develop a custom content management system that could reuse content in different page templates, publish static web page content to a remote server, and allow the internal corporate staff to easily manage the site through an easy to use web based interface that is only available within the corporate intranet. Additionally, Tri Counties Bank needed support from our creative team to integrate the web site design provided by Kelly Goto's firm,
GoTo Media. Custom CMS modules were desired on this project to manage:
- Lead Generation Forms
- Advertising Display
- Location Search/Mapping
- Career Search and Resume Submission
- Product/Service Information Display in various formats including Product Comparison
- Help Information
- Integration with dtSearch API
- General Web Site Content/Structure

By partnering with Blast Advanced Media, a custom, highly secure XML based Content Management System was developed on schedule and on budget to meet Tri Counties Bank's unique challenges. Some highlights of the CMS are that it utilized extensive XSLT to display content in a variety of page layouts, leveraged the .NET application framework to manage content only behind the secure firewall on the internal network via web interface, and then only publishes raw XML, XSLT and XHTML files to the remote web server for high performance, search engine friendly web site code that only accepts secure connections back to the bank that can be audited before bringing anything into the secure internal network.
