Conversion-driven online marketing sets Sleep Train up for success
Sleep Train partnered with Blast to revamp SleepTrain.com and SleepCountry.com and develop an online marketing strategy that would help them be as successful online as they have been as a brick and mortar company for over 25 years.
Challenge
Sleep Train’s previous website was difficult to navigate and didn’t guide users naturally through the steps of the buying cycle. There was also a need for a comprehensive online marketing strategy incorporating email marketing, pay per click, landing pages, Google Places listings, on-page and off-page SEO, and continued optimization.

Result
Blast designed a website with key user tasks in mind. Using a solid interaction strategy, user-friendly information architecture, and a new visual hierarchy, users are led to take action – find a store, browse products and find their perfect bed. With this strategy we saw results - over a 50% increase in pageviews and number of pages per visit!
Using our expertise in SEO and online marketing, we created a strategy which will sync with Sleep Train’s other marketing efforts.

Through continued SEO Audits, monthly performance reports and PPC reporting, the SEO results speak for themselves. We will continue to work with Sleep Train to optimize their site and educate them on SEO, usability and content design to guide their online marketing towards increased success.

- Users are led through the various stages of the buying cycle with more relevant content that better engages people resulting in more time on the site (from 2:56 to 4:35 minutes)andmore pages viewed (from 4.79 pages/visit to 11.56)
