As Director, Content Strategy for Blast Analytics & Marketing, Joe is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing-related content initiatives for leaders seeking to EVOLVE their organizations. He joined the company in early 2016 to help Blast and its various clients increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion by delivering the right content to the right audiences at the right time, across multiple platforms.


With more than 20 years experience working for a range of organizations — from Fortune 100 to start-up and non-profit — Joe has proven success leading content strategy, projects, campaigns, and creative teams. In addition to his deep marketing and communications expertise, he adds valuable management and operational experience to Blast.

Prior to joining Blast, Joe was content development manager for Kleinfelder, a large global engineering company, where he managed internal and external content strategies. Before that, he ran a successful copywriting and communications consultancy serving a diverse portfolio of clients.

Joe received his BA in Communications from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California, where he also played intercollegiate basketball and was editor of the campus newspaper. An active member of the community, Joe coaches various youth sports teams while supporting other local programs and activities. He and his wife Janis are co-founders of The Markie Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports children’s hospice.
