AKA Ms. User Advocate
Ciarda Henderson-Geist, Director of User Experience, joined the Blast Advanced Media team with nearly fifteen years of user interface design experience. Her focus is user-centric front end design aimed at meeting clients' business objectives while ensuring ease of usability for the target user. Holding a Masters degree in Psychology, Ciarda leverages her educational background and passion for understanding behavior to craft sites which enhance the user experience and appeal to the target user profile.
Ciarda has consulted with companies ranging from the smallest dot com to the most established corporation on projects including persona development, information architecture, interaction design, and usability. As a Certified Usability Analyst, Ciarda has a wealth of knowledge and experience which will be invaluable to the Blast Advanced Media team.
Prior to joining Blast Advanced Media, Ciarda ran her own consulting establishment and was with Human Factors International where she managed over $2 million of design engagements and lead teams in the U.S. and abroad for clients such as Toyota Financial Services, Seagate Technology, ABC Family (Disney), and Sutter Health, among many others.
In her free time Ciarda enjoys reading, running in local races, and spending time with her husband and beautiful daughter, Carina.
