Challenge:
The California Independent System Operator (CAISO) came to Blast Advanced Media in need of a communication materials to support the Market Redesign & Technology Upgrade (MRTU) project initiative. These materials would serve to educate and inform both internal and external audiences with interest in the MRTU project. Presented in a 35 minute presentation via both the web and CD, the deliverables needed to be flexible in their presentation.

We needed a solution that would convey a large amount of information, engage viewers from both internal & external audiences and deliver a 35 minute presentation in a format suitable for both the web and CD.

Solution:
Based on the deliverables needed, we decided flash would be the best vehicle for delivery of this extensive presentation. We decided to forego the standard stock photography based “words and pictures” presentation and created all custom artwork and illustration allowing us to more closely illustrate the concepts and information in the presentation. The advantage to this – we were able to save the client time and cost by eliminating the need to search and purchase stock photography and we were able to drastically reduce the file size for the web deliverable without straying far from the quality of the original CD presentation.

Services:
INTERFACE DESIGN, FLASH, ILLUSTRATION, AUDIO / VIDEO PRODUCTION
